Jim Haar

Jim Haar became the CIO of Blue Coat in early 2009, bringing more than 20 years of experience across IT, operations, sales, marketing and finance in High Tech and Manufacturing. Prior to Blue Coat, Haar was the CIO at BEA Systems, Inc. At BEA he also directed the Oracle-BEA merger and ran a selling unit. Haar also served as the Director of Marketing Business Operations at Sun Microsystems, where he was also responsible for Sun’s business transaction systems and led Sun’s global implementation of Oracle applications.
